Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born October 17 1992) is an extremely popular Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil films and Telugu films, along with a handful of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began as a child actor at the beginning of 2000 and went back to film after studying fashion design. Her first leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy took on the first of her Malayalam projects as well as started working with Tamil in parallel. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film was not an immediate success in the box office. To accommodate larger projects, she was forced to cancel projects she'd already begun working on. These included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the following years, she was working in Rajini Murugan's Remo with two short films. Additionally, Dhanush and she played as the main characters for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. It was delayed from 2015 with reports that it would be released in September in 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. The first film to debut was Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 with actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa opposite Vijay, directed by Bharathan.
