Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson who was an ironworker in Chillicothe on the 20th of February, 1937. She was the daughter of Lillian Ryan worked as household helper. In just a few months, she was offered an offer to sing in The Blue Morocco Night Club on Boston Road in The Bronx which was where her agent was introduced to her voice and agreed to sign her.
